Travelodge by Wyndham Elkhart

For the price point of this hotel, it is amazing! The room was spotless! One of the cleanest bathrooms in any hotel room I have ever been in. It is located directly off the Indiana Toll Road and getting in and out couldn't be easier. It is run by a very friendly staff. The room is no frills but the quality of the bedding and the cleanliness of the room and property are amazing!

Other than a couple minor things this place was amazing. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Crispy clean. The minor things were, a handicap door to get in would have been less awkward. A couple extra non slip strips in the shower. Bed was super comfy even though difficult to get onto the bed. I'd say a few too many inches high. A 5'5" person wouldn't be able to just sit on the bed. But, otherwise I would definitely recommend.

For a budget hotel it was very nice. Nice toiletries. Clean and comfortable room. Front desk and housekeeping staff were very nice. At check-in the front desk clerk said they have coffee, toast and bagels in the lobby from 6-10AM. They also had fruit and pastries along with the toast, bagels and coffee. Since they don't advertise as having breakfast this was an unexpected pleasant surprise. Overall a good experience. Ignore the couple of negative reviews. Apparently you can't please everyone.

For trying to find a hotel On a home game weekend last minute, this hotel was pretty good. Updated rooms, beds were comfortable, only issue I had was the room I was in the road behind it was pretty busy at night. Friendly staff. For a last minute hotel with every other place $300-600 a night this place didn’t disappoint.

Exactly what we needed while on the road: Clean room. Nice water pressure in the showers. A working refrigerator and a comfy bed. Inexpensive. What more could a person really need? Heck, we came back on the return portion of our trip. It was a different room, but just as good as the first. Would stay again.

For the price, you can’t beat it. It’s clean and quiet. Staff is very nice. Breakfast is only bread, but coffee is good.

A simple but affordable budget inn not far from the Indiana Toll Road. The reception staff were friendly; our room on the second floor was clean, modernly furnished, and perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. It seemed to have been recently renovated. From 6 to 10 a.m., coffee, toast, bagels, fruit, and pastries are even available in the lobby, which is included in the price. Since we weren't staying during a Notre Dame home game weekend, the room rate was reasonable. There are several restaurants within walking distance. A good option for a short stay in Elkhart.

Very pleased with our recent stay at this hotel. The staff is great! I regret that I didn't catch their names but the two ladies who checked us in were so kind. We had issues with our TV not working properly and we were promptly moved to a new room with no fuss. The beds are surprisingly extremely, extremely comfortable. I cannot stress this enough. They were better than the beds you get in more expensive hotels. Once we were in our room I could not hear any noise from people in neighboring rooms. There's not many amenities but the price was right for a great night of sleep. Would definitely make a return visit.
